Main maanga prabhu aapse, main na jaagun aur.
Na bhagoon dhan lobh me, bhool chayn ka kaur.
Diya magar prabhu aapne, jaagan ka abhishaap,
Kaahe karo vivash tum prabhu, ki main karun kuchh paap.
(Dear God, I asked you for a situation where I donot wake up to this world. So that I donot have to run for money, forgetting even a small bite of food taken in peace. But, you instead gave me a life with too much of waking up, and now u are forcing me to do the unjust, to survive in this world.)
Main dekha deepawali, holi bhi liya dekh,
fark na koi deekh pada, man na dikha koi nek.
Sabjan kewal mitravat, baat karen bekaar,
Apni haanki baanchen sab, sabka rona ek.
(I saw Deepawali, and then also saw Holi, in both of the celebrations, i did not find much of difference, as all the people were doing loose talks with each other just to contain the time they were sitting or spending time togather, I could not see a single person who spreaks sense on these festivals.
