Lourdes Quisumbing (February 13, – October 14, ) served as the Philippines' Secretary of Education, Culture, and Sports from to , under the presidency of Corazon Aquino. Prior to serving as Secretary, she was the president of Maryknoll College.[1]
Education
[edit]Quisumbing has studied extensively in the field of education, completing a Bachelor of Education from St. Theresa's College; a Master of Education from the University of San Carlos, and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Santo Tomas. She has held teaching and administrative positions at various schools, and was President of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).[2]

Arie Nadler was born in Munich in Arie Nadler, Ph.D. (, Psychology, Purdue University, USA) is a Full Professor of Social Psychology (). He served as the Head of the Psychology Department () and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Tel Aviv University (). He co-founded the Tami Steinmetz Center for Peace Research and served as the first head of its academic committee (), and established and was the first head of the Institute for Diplomacy and Regional Cooperation at Tel Aviv University (). Since Prof. Nadler holds the Argentina Chair for Research of Psychology of Conflict and Cooperation. Funds to establish the Chair were donated by the Argentinean Friends of Tel Aviv University. Since May Professor Nadler serves as the Chairperson of the board of the Israeli Trustees Foundation which supports research in the social sciences and education in Israeli Universities and Colleges. Professor Nadler also served as the chairperson of ISEF (Israeli Sepharadic Education Foundation) and Yeladim (the council for the child in placement). Professor Nadler also has consulting experience in his areas of expertise in non-profit and business organizations.
