Yukimura Sanada, A.K.A Scorpio in Devil Kings, is one of the main characters in the Sengoku BASARA series. His weapons of choice are twin spears and his element is fire.

Yukimura was one of the most distinguished warriors in the Sengoku Era who opposed Ieyasu Tokugawa to the end. He wields two jūmonji-yari, he is very hot-blooded and fanatically loyal to Shingen Takeda. He is often depicted in a rivalry with Masamune Date, and is a common "punching bag" for Shingen's unnecessary brawls, though he always looks at it as a test of strength. His element is fire.

- Salamander - A special pair of spears with low attack power and very high defense. Combos are easier to achieve since they add an extra hit to every "primed" enemy struck with them.

Date Masamune (Japanese: 伊達 政宗) is a character from Capcom's Sengoku Basara video game franchise, first introduced in the 2005 video game Devil Kings. In the North American and European versions, he is known as a warrior named Azure Dragon, but retained his original name in the series' third title. As with most Sengoku Basara characters, Masamune was loosely based on Japanese historical figure Date Masamune.
Capcom created this fictional version of him in order to show an appeal based on the character's dragon motifs inherited from the real Date Masamune. Additionally, Masamune's design was intended show a major contrast to one of the other protagonists from the series, Sanada Yukimura. Despite initial mixed reactions to Masamune's designs based on him wielding six swords at once, critics praised the characterization of Masamune in both the games and anime series based on multiple traits.
